I enjoyed reading this recent wine column by my fellow CSW Holly Howell on FingerLakesWine.com. "Pair aged wines with wintertime food for a match made in heaven," features Howell's suggestions for some fun weekday evening wine and food pairings.
I love her suggestion of aged cheddar cheese and aged Cabernet Sauvignon and I'm excited to try truffled popcorn!
I am also interested in her pairing of Sauternes wine and Girl Scout Lemon Chalet Cremes in front of a fire and a snowy window.
