How to Host a Blind Tasting Wine Party

Wine writer Gretchen Roberts provides a five step how to guide for hosting a wine tasting party in her Everyday Wine blog post 'How to do a blind tasting.'

Roberts has some great advice for making sure that the hostess can participate in the tasting, too! She achieves this by having the hostess bag all the wines and pull the corks, then asking a guest to number the bags while she looks away! I love doing wine tasting parties at my home, and this is trick will ensure that I get to have as much fun as my guests at a blind tasting party!

My friends Alex and Cati throw a wine tasting benefit for charity. See a copy of their invitation, 'awards' and scoring sheet for ideas. http://www.alexandcati.com/?p=751
